"Musk's Las Vegas Loop Expands with 2 New Stations"

The Boring Company’s Las Vegas tunnel loop system is a lucrative investment, with each new station adding millions of dollars to the project. This has made Las Vegas eager to expand the system.

Soon, the Boring Company’s Vegas Loop will reach UNLV and Formula One’s Grand Prix Plaza.

One of these expansions is the University Center Loop, which will consist of dual tunnels connecting the Convention Center and land near UNLV. The company purchased this land for $7.1 million and it sits across from Thomas & Mack Center on University Center Drive.

Currently, only one portion of the Vegas Loop -the Convention Center Loop- is operational after costing $47 million to build. The full plan includes 93 stations spread over 68 miles in areas such as downtown Las Vegas and neighboring regions along with portions of The Strip.

Passengers are transported between stations using Tesla model vehicles in a point-to-point system within this innovative transportation network.
