A 242,000-square-foot office building in St. Petersburg is set to undergo a multi-million dollar renovation by joint owners Feldman Equities and Tower Realty Partners. The City Center on Second Avenue South, built in 1985 with previous updates in 2005, 2011, and 2012, currently boasts an occupancy rate of 88%. According to the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s first quarter report, St. Pete’s office market has a vacancy rate just under12%, making it one of the strongest markets nationwide.
The lobby will be redesigned as part of the project along with an expanded fitness center featuring top-of-the-line equipment and amenities such as showers and lockers. Additionally,a new conference center seating up to50 people will be added along with a coffee/espresso bar for tenants’ convenience.Further enhancements include lounge areas,bathrooms,and improved landscaping.Entos Design has been selected as the architect for this undertaking.
The renovations are expected to conclude by February2025.
