Vision Hospitality has acquired a prime quarter-acre lot in Raleigh’s Glenwood South neighborhood with plans to develop a Moxy hotel. According to the Triangle Business Journal, the purchase price for the parcel was $4.6 million, with Turnbridge Equities as the seller. This is an increase from Turnbridge’s purchase of $3.7 million in 2020 as part of their larger development project which includes two mixed-use towers.

The proposed Moxy hotel will be nine stories tall and feature 169 rooms under Marriott International’s boutique brand known for its affordable yet stylish accommodations.

Currently used as a surface parking lot, this site will soon be transformed into a vibrant destination with amenities such as flexible meeting spaces, a kitchen and bar area, food truck space, lounge areas and outdoor patios.

ODA Architecture has been selected as the project architect while O’Kane & Associates will serve as civil engineer for this exciting new addition to Raleigh’s hospitality scene.
