"Moving Ryan's Eloy Site from Warehouses to Data Center"

Ryan Companies has made a decision to change their plans for developing an industrial project in Eloy, Pinal County. Instead of building a 1.8 million square foot facility, they are now considering constructing a three-building data center complex on the same site. The proposed location is situated on 122 acres at Houser and Estrella Road, just east of I-10. The development will be known as Southwest Crossing Data Park and will cover over 855,000 square feet with a capacity of 400 megawatts.

According to AZBEX’s report, the estimated cost for construction could exceed $687 million. With the potential for expansion up to 1.25 million square feet at this site, it is expected that impact fees totaling nearly $1.8 million will be incurred and more than 4,800 direct construction jobs will be created during its development phase.

Once operationalized, this facility has the potential to generate over $5
