**Historic Montrose Meatpacking Plant and Tower Theatre to Be Revitalized**

The historic Swift & Company meatpacking building in Houston’s Montrose neighborhood is set for a major transformation. More than 50 years old, the building will be redeveloped into a 4.47-acre mixed-use site featuring restaurants, offices, and retail space. The redevelopment is being led by Radom Capital, a developer known for preserving and repurposing iconic Houston landmarks.

In collaboration with Triten Real Estate Partners, Radom Capital also plans to revitalize the Tower Theatre on Westheimer Road. Built in the 1930s, the theater will be converted into a jazz supper club as part of a broader project that includes the redevelopment of four adjacent buildings into a vibrant commercial corridor.

Construction on the 1111 Westheimer project began in 2024 and was completed in early 2025, with tenants scheduled to begin opening over the next eight months. Meanwhile, the Swift Building redevelopment is expected to break ground this spring, with an anticipated public opening in spring 2026.

These projects reflect continued investment in preserving Montrose’s historic character while adapting it for modern use, enhancing the neighborhood’s cultural and commercial appeal.
