MOM's Organic Market Expands with 11th Store Opening in Maryland

MOM’s Organic Market, a popular grocery chain founded by Scott Nash in 1987, is expanding its presence with the opening of its first store in Anne Arundel County and 11th location in Maryland. The new store will be located at Park Plaza on Ritchie Highway in Severna Park, MD and is expected to open late 2024 or early 2025.

According to Amir Poustinchi, CFO of MOM’s Organic Markets, after thorough evaluation of the area it was evident that Park Plaza is the primary shopping destination for this rapidly growing and densely populated region. This makes it an ideal location for MOM’s to establish itself as a key player.

The Baltimore-based real estate investment and management company represented by Cherene Keenan from CRC has signed a lease agreement with MOM’s Organic Market. Lee Engle from Engle Retail Advisors acted as the tenant representative for this transaction.

With nearly 25 locations across six states and Washington D.C., MOM’s Organic Market continues to expand its reach while staying true to their mission of providing organic products since their humble beginnings in Nash’s mother’s garage.
