The Moinian Group has reached a significant milestone in the construction of 7 Platt St., a 37-story, 250-unit luxury residential development in Manhattan’s Financial District. The project is being built by AECOM Tishman and is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2026.
Principal Matthew Moinian expressed excitement about reaching this topping out milestone and bringing the project one step closer to completion. He also noted that while The Moinian Group has completed many conversion projects in Downtown Manhattan, this will be their first luxury ground-up residential offering under the city’s 421-a program.
Located next to another Moinian development, the Platt Street Hotel with its own set of amenities for residents, including proximity to transportation options such as Fulton Street subway station and NYC Ferry routes. Additionally, residents will have access to nearby outdoor spaces like parks as well as various dining and cultural offerings within walking distance.
