MODUS Companies is considering a new Build-to-Rent development in south Scottsdale, located on Oak Street near 64th Street. The proposed project, called Papago Village, would consist of 94 single-family units spread over 10.01 acres of land.
According to AZBEX, the homes in this development will be designed to meet the Department of Energy’s Zero Energy Ready Home program requirements. MODUS claims that these units will offer energy efficiency levels that are up to 70% higher than standard code specifications by utilizing features such as Low-E glass and solar panels. Additionally, each unit will come equipped with Energy Star appliances and other sustainable building materials.
The community amenities at Papago Village are set to include a clubhouse with a pool and fitness center, as well as outdoor activity spaces for residents’ enjoyment.
MODUS currently has four other projects underway throughout Arizona: three Build-to-Rent developments and one traditional apartment community.
