Mixed-Use Residential Development in Lemon Grove Nears Completion

The construction of Kelvin, a contemporary mixed-use community with 66 units located at 7950 Broadway in Lemon Grove, is almost finished in the rapidly growing San Diego County neighborhood. Developed and owned by LLJ Ventures and Citymark Development, the project is now being managed by Sunrise Management based in San Diego. Pre-leasing has begun and move-ins will start on March 16th as the project nears completion during the first week of March.

Kelvin sits on what used to be Barry’s Athletic Supply store for over two decades before relocating to another location within Lemon Grove. The community features commercial space on its first level spanning over 4,000 square feet along with studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom homes ranging from 523 to1 ,058 square feet.

According to Theresa Cordero, president of Sunrise Management: “Kelvin adds a dynamic touch to Lemon Grove which has transformed from an agricultural town known for its citrus groves into a thriving suburban community.” She also added that Sunrise is excited about overseeing both lease-up activities as well as day-to-day management operations for this vibrant development.
