The historic Haggard Farm in Plano is being developed bit by bit. The family has owned the farm since the mid 1800s, and recently received zoning for an ambitious building venture in 2021.
According to Dallas Business Journal, Haggard Farm Tillage Offices will be the first of many projects slated for this parcel. It will be a three-story office building connected with a two-story central lobby and have a construction cost of $20 million; expected completion date is late 2024 with Stillwater as developer and Corgan as design firm behind 189,000 square feet of space.
Zoning allows over 700,000 square feet of office space plus 98-room hotel, 700 residential units, senior housing community retail village & townhomes along with entertainment center featuring outdoor pavilions & event lawn – all complemented by more than two dozen acres designated for park/open space use on farmland property.
