After purchasing the Valley View mall in 2012 and demolishing it, they are now ready to begin construction on a 275-unit apartment complex that will be the first step towards their $5 billion mixed-use complex. The building affiliate Anthem Development is set to start work early next year with five floors of apartments above 26,000 feet of restaurant and retail space on the ground floor. Upon completion, Dallas Midtown project will consist of 4,000 residences including office towers as well as shopping centers, restaurants and entertainment venues along with luxury hotels and plenty green space for leisure activities.
