"Milwaukee Area Second HQ Eyed by KS Investment Firm"

Midwest Institutional Trust Co., a Kansas-based investment firm and part of the Midwest Family of Companies (MITC), is considering opening a new office in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. This move comes as MITC has recently entered into an agreement with BMO Harris Bank to take over their institutional trust services clients.

The city of Wauwatosa is offering $200,000 in financing to support the establishment of this new office at 10700 W. Research Park Drive. The plan is for MITC to hire nearly 40 employees who were previously going to be laid off by BMO Harris and relocate them to this new location. According to reports from the Kansas City Business Journal , MITC will be taking on over $70 billion in assets through this agreement, bringing their total assets close to $500 billion.

This potential expansion marks an exciting development for Midwest Institutional Trust Co., as they continue their growth within the investment industry.
