Construction has begun on Modera Melrose, a new mixed-use apartment community in San Diego’s North County. Developed by Mill Creek Residential, the garden-style complex will be situated at the intersection of Oceanside Blvd and Melrose Drive and will feature 323 apartments and 2,100 square feet of retail space. The first residents are expected to move in during late summer 2026.
According to John Colletti, senior managing director of development for Mill Creek Southern California, the company has always been impressed with North San Diego County’s desirable location near beautiful beaches and year-round outdoor activities. They are excited to begin work on Modera Melrose so that future residents can experience all that this area has to offer.
Modera Melrose is conveniently located near Inland Rail Trail, a popular 21-mile bike path. It also sits next to the Melrose Drive station for easy access around town.
