MIG Real Estate recently acquired a 13 building, 42-acre Austin business park with the help of a $67.1 million loan secured by CBRE. A CBRE team led by Bill Chiles provided the five-year, non-recourse, floating rate loan for MIG Real Estate to complete the purchase. The Braker Business Park’s 13 flex and research and development buildings plus one retail center encompassing 547,395 sq. ft., were included in this sale in Austin; four of these buildings are fully occupied while Lonestar Center is 100% leased at 15,302 square feet since its construction in 2000.
Prior to this acquisition MIG Real Estate already owned three buildings within Braker Business Park which they purchased back in September 2016; all properties are conveniently located near MoPac providing quick access to downtown Austin as well as the nearby Austin-Bergstrom International Airport with The Domain office center just north of it..
