Studio Gang, an architecture and urban design firm, has announced the appointment of Joan Verbon as Principal and Chief Financial and Operations Officer. In this role, Verbon will lead the financial performance and daily operations of Studio Gang as it continues to fulfill its mission of using design to connect people with their communities and environment.

With more than 25 years specializing in public finance and banking within community development experience through his work at Greenwood Archer Capital (GAC), a nonprofit Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), he brings valuable expertise to CDC’s efforts towards economic development for Chicago City Council.
