TD Bank has granted a $64 million construction loan to The Estate Cos. for their upcoming apartment and commercial development in Homestead’s Midtown area.
The 20.8-acre property, located at the southeast corner of Southwest 312th Street/Campbell Drive and Northeast 30th Avenue in South Miami, was purchased by The Estate Cos. from Baptist Health South Florida for $14 million in May with the help of broker James L. Fried from Sandstone Realty Advisors.
Construction on Soleste Midtown will begin this December, with plans to build six five-story apartment buildings containing a total of 354 garden-style units ranging from 676 to 1,131 square feet each. In addition to the apartments, there will be approximately 43,000 square feet of commercial space and parking for up to one thousand vehicles on site.
The commercial space will be developed and owned by The Midtown Group while The Estate Cos.’s focus remains on constructing Soleste Midtown itself which is expected to feature amenities such as a clubhouse spanning over seven thousand square feet along with a pool and playground area.
Completion is projected for sometime during the second quarter of2026.
