Middleburg Communities, a company that specializes in rental housing across the Southeast and Sunbelt regions, has announced the appointment of three new development partners to enhance its development capabilities. These partners will have access to Middleburg’s wide range of resources and will oversee all development activities in their respective markets.
According to Chris Finlay, Founder and CEO of Middleburg, they are confident about their core markets in the Southeast as well as the strong demand for rental housing. The newly added development partners at Middleburg include:
– Ross Magette – Richmond: Magette joined Middleburg in September 2024 after working at FCP for over seven years where he rose from Associate to Senior Vice President of Development.
– Tim McEachern – Tampa: McEachern previously served as Managing Director of Development at LIV Development where he oversaw the construction of eleven luxury multifamily communities comprising 3,100 units across Florida. He joined Middleburg in August 2024.
– J. Spencer Merritt – Raleigh: With over fifteen years’ experience in multifamily development dating back to 2006, Merritt joined Middleburg after spending four years as a Partner at East West Partners.
This move by Middeleberg is aimed towards strengthening its capabilities and expanding its presence within these growing markets.
