**Mid Atlantic Express Acquires Baltimore City Warehouse for $4.5M**
Mid Atlantic Express, a logistics, transportation, and building clean-up company, has acquired a warehouse located at 1340 Chesapeake Avenue in Baltimore City for $4.5 million. The single-story property spans approximately 25,400 square feet.
The transaction was facilitated by MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services. Senior Vice Presidents and Principals Andrew Meeder, Daniel Hudak, and Matthew Curran represented the buyer in the deal. The MacKenzie team had previously brokered the $3.7 million acquisition of a 21,000-square-foot truck terminal at 25 Thomas Avenue in Baltimore City for Mid Atlantic Express.
“Mid Atlantic Express was searching for a new corporate headquarters site that better satisfied its growing real estate requirements,” said Meeder.
Located on a lot slightly larger than three acres, the purchased property is a single-tenant facility featuring 30-foot ceilings, two drive-in doors, and two loading docks. It offers convenient access to key transportation routes, being less than two miles from Interstate 695, under three miles from Interstate 895, and approximately 10 miles from Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport.
