"Mid-2024 Kick Off for McKinney Cotton Mill Project"

Presidium is in the final stages of securing approval from McKinney town officials for their ambitious plans to revitalize the area surrounding the historic cotton mill. The $750 million mixed-use project, set to break ground in mid-2024, will feature a combination of residential, commercial and retail spaces. This development is expected to bring significant economic growth with an estimated total impact of $930 million and generate $38 million in tax revenue for McKinney.

The 28-acre site will include four apartment buildings with a total of 1,200 units as well as 200,000 square feet dedicated to office space. Plans also include retail options such as restaurants and cafes within this mixed-use complex.

Dating back to 1910, the city’s former cotton mill was once used for processing cotton and manufacturing textiles before being repurposed into this exciting new development.
