"Mid-2024 Kick Off for McKinney Cotton Mill Project"

Presidium is in the final stages of securing approval from McKinney town officials for their ambitious plans to revitalize the area surrounding the historic cotton mill. The $750 million mixed-use project, set to begin construction in mid-2024, will feature a combination of apartments, offices, and retail space. This development is expected to have a significant economic impact on McKinney with an estimated total impact of over $930 million and generating $38 million in tax revenue.

The 28-acre development includes four apartment buildings totaling 1,200 units and approximately 200,000 square feet of office space. Retail options such as restaurants and cafes are also included in the plans for this mixed-use complex.

Dating back to 1910 as a cotton processing and textile manufacturing facility, McKinney’s old cotton mill will soon be transformed into a modern hub for living and commerce. Stay tuned for updates on this exciting project coming soon!
