Michael McGuinness Retires After 26 Years as CEO of NAIOP NJ

After 26 years of service, Michael McGuinness will retire as the CEO of NAIOP New Jersey at the end of July. Dan Kennedy will join the commercial real estate development association on June 19 and work alongside McGuinness during a six-week transition period.

McGuinness has been an integral part in leading NAIOP NJ’s growth and advocating for critical public policy issues in New Jersey’s commercial real estate industry such as business incentive programs, regulatory reforms, and streamlined site remediation processes.
Expressing his gratitude to all those he worked with over his tenure, McGuinness said: “Saying goodbye to my commercial real estate family is not an easy thing to do…It has been a privilege and honor to serve the needs of members while working alongside so many business leaders who I now call friends. The memories, lessons learned, laughs and camaraderie are priceless.”
