Transwestern Real Estate Services recently facilitated the sale of a two-complex multifamily portfolio in Hayward and San Leandro for $29,755,500. The buyer and seller have not been disclosed.
Senior Director Shivu Srinivasan of Transwestern represented both parties in the transaction for Brightmoor Apartments. In the sale of Vermont Hills Apartments, Srinivasan acted as representative for the buyer while Matt Flaherty and Ryan Rodriguez from Colliers represented the seller.
According to Srinivasan, there was significant interest in this multifamily portfolio due to its potential for growth. Despite current market challenges, a successful sale was achieved.
Srinivasan also noted that since these properties are located outside local rent control jurisdictions, new owners will have immediate opportunities to increase rental income.
