Mesquite is set to receive almost 1 million square feet of warehouse space across two new industrial projects. With over 18 million square feet of Class A and B industrial space already, the city will benefit from an additional 750,000-square-foot building planned by Capstar Real Estate Advisors on Skyline Drive west of Interstate 635. The $42.5 million project is slated for completion in late 2024 and will be accompanied by a 203,000-square-foot building owned by Houston’s Lovett Industria l at 19205 LBJ Freeway with a scheduled opening date in October 2024 . This $15.1 million development designed by LGE DesignGroup marks yet another investment into Mesquite’s growing industrial sector which has seen Canadian Solar invest $250 Million into their manufacturing plant located on 91 acres of Capstar property nearby.
