Meridian Healthcare RE Developer Names Business Development Lead

Meridian, a healthcare and life science real estate developer, has appointed Julissa Tellez Buchwald as Vice President of Business Development. In this role she will be responsible for driving the company’s strategic growth across the country from its headquarters in Walnut Creek.

Katie Newman, Meridian’s VP of Real Estate Development commented: “Julissa brings to our team an impressive 15 years of experience in healthcare along with exceptional leadership skills and a strong drive to succeed – qualities which are essential for leading our business development strategy.”

Tellez Buchwald most recently served as Senior Director of Project Development at E4H Architecture where she was instrumental in facilitating key communication initiatives that enabled new business relationships and drove strategic growth. CEO Mike Conn noted her “deep understanding” when it comes to operations and facility planning on projects ranging from conceptual master planning through renovations, additions, neighborhood micro hospitals greenfield construction or tenant re-characterization.

This appointment is sure to help propel Meridian towards achieving its ambitious goals within the industry.
