Mercy College Extends Lease at Bronx Campus at Simone Development's Hutchinson Metro Center

Simone Metro Properties has secured a long-term lease renewal with Mercy College for a 125,522-square-foot space at 1200 Waters Place in the Bronx. This move furthers the college’s commitment to Hutchinson Metro Center and the borough, providing students with modern learning environment featuring various undergraduate and graduate degree programs such as nursing, childhood education, community health and cybersecurity.

Mercy College played an integral role in developing 1200 Waters Place which transformed an underutilized state hospital site into a commercial real estate project of Hutchinson Metro Center. The center features office spaces for businesses; medical facilities; retail stores; hospitality services; academic institutions as well as federal, state and city agencies.

James MacDonald from Simone Metro Properties negotiated this lease renewal assisted by Sean Heneghan while Bill Cuddy & Greg Maurer-Hollaender from CBRE represented Mercy College’s interests during these negotiations.
                                                                       

Mercy College has renewed its long term lease on their 125 522 square foot campus located at 1200 Waters Place in Bronx through Simone Development Companies’ Hutchinson Metros Centre project – furthering their commitment to both the centre itself and also to the borough it is located within . Students are provided with modern learning environments offering various undergraduate & graduate degrees including Nursing , Childhood Education , Community Health & Cybersecurity .
                                                                                                        
 The development of1200 Water Placetransformed an obsolete underutilised state hospital site into one that now houses over 80 businesses ; healthcare providers ; educational institutes ; federal ,state&city agencies plus retail outlets&hospitality services . James MacDonald (assisted by Sean Heneghan) negotiated on behalf of Simone Development Companies whilst Bill Cuddy & Greg Maurer Hollaender represented Mercy Colleges interests during these negotiations .
