**Medical City McKinney Undergoing $190 Million Expansion**

Medical City McKinney Hospital, a 311-bed facility located in McKinney, Texas, is in the midst of a significant expansion, with $190 million in projects planned or currently underway on its campus.

Key elements of the development include the addition of two floors to the hospital’s east tower. This expansion will add 46 beds and more operating rooms. Construction is set to begin in August 2025, with completion anticipated by the end of 2026. The east tower addition comes with an estimated cost of $117 million.

In addition, construction is already in progress to build two new stories above the Medical City Women’s Hospital. This $25 million project will include two new C-section suites, six labor and delivery suites, and updates to existing patient suites. Completion is expected in early 2027.

Another component of the expansion involves a new 125,000-square-foot medical office building, which will house additional physician practices, hospital services, and Solis Mammography. This facility is expected to open later in the summer of 2025 at a cost of $50 million.

These projects are part of Medical City Healthcare’s $1.5 billion capital investment initiative, aimed at enhancing facilities and services across its healthcare system over a five-year period.
