"MD Retail Center Purchased by Aggregate Real Estate Investors for $28M"

Aggregate Real Estate Investors, a company formed by former Rosenthal Properties executive Jacobsen, has acquired the Montrose Shopping Center retail plaza in Rockville, Maryland for $28 million. According to the Washington Business Journal, Aggregate partnered with Maisel Development, Farhat Cheema and Leo Choi on this deal. Jacobsen previously held the position of executive vice president and director of acquisitions at Rosenthal before leaving last year.

The seller was an affiliate of Rosenthal who purchased the property for $20.5 million as part of a larger portfolio from Washington Real Estate Investment Trust in 2021. This sale marks almost one year since Rosenthal sold its third-party property management and leasing platforms to The Shopping Center Group.
