Vermilion Development has chosen McShane Construction Company to construct Lock Lane Apartments, a 309-unit multi-family community in Madison, Wisconsin. The architectural services for the project will be provided by Potter Lawson.
According to Vermilion CEO Dave Cocagne, securing funding for this project was challenging but they are pleased to have partnered with Quartz Lake Capital and Clarion Partners. JLL played an important role in sourcing equity capital while CIBC continues their long-standing relationship by providing construction financing.
The development will span over 8.5 acres of land next to Tenney Park and feature two five-story podium-style buildings with a total of 289 units along with three two-story townhome buildings comprising of 20 units each. Some amenities that residents can look forward to include large green roof spaces on the podium buildings, fitness centers, club rooms and common balconies as well as co-working office spaces and conference rooms.
