**New McKinney Retail Center Attracts Major Tenants, Including Trader Joe’s**
McKinney, TX – Eldorado Neighborhood Shops, a new retail development in McKinney, has secured prominent tenants Trader Joe’s and Sherwin-Williams. This will be the second Trader Joe’s location in the city, complementing the existing store at 2851 Craig Drive, approximately five miles from the new site.
Located at the southwest corner of Eldorado Parkway and Stonebridge Drive, the 13.7-acre mixed-use project is being developed by SLX Capital, which acquired the land in February 2024. Construction began in December, and the shopping center is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2026.
The $27 million development will combine a variety of retailers, dining options, and essential services. Confirmed tenants include Mountain Mike’s Pizza, Chipotle, and Willowbrae Academy, as well as facilities such as a gym and daycare center.
Leasing and pad sales are being managed by DBA Commercial Real Estate. The development team also includes JAW Architects Inc., XS Construction LLC, and Cross Engineering Consultants.
Eldorado Neighborhood Shops is poised to become a key retail destination in McKinney, offering a convenient and diverse mix of amenities for the community.
