McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. recently celebrated the grand opening of the new Dublin Transit Center Parking Garage, a significant achievement in advancing Dublin’s transit infrastructure. The five-level facility offers 507 parking spaces and features an 18,000-square-foot ground-level area for potential mixed-use development.
According to Fernando Sanchez, director of design integration at McCarthy, “The Dublin Transit Center Parking Garage showcases our commitment to innovative and sustainable development and demonstrates progressive urban planning by combining practical infrastructure with community enrichment.” This project not only meets current community needs but also sets the foundation for future growth.
Using a design-build delivery method in collaboration with IPD (International Parking Design), McCarthy has successfully completed this project. The County of Alameda GSA played a crucial role in its completion as well by working closely with McCarthy and its partners on their first design-build project in Alameda County since 2017.
