McCarter & English, LLP has signed a long-term lease for 10,993 square feet of office space at 2 Stamford Plaza. The move marks the relocation of their previous offices in Stamford, CT which were located at 201 Broad St. Benjamin Goldstein and Harrison Russell, managing directors at Newmark who represented the law firm in this transaction, stated that they worked diligently to find a solution that not only met their client’s space requirements but also provided a smooth transition.
Goldstein added that the location and amenities offered by 2 Stamford Plaza played an important role in McCarter & English’s decision to commit to this new space. The property is owned by RFR Realty LLC and offers a highly amenitized environment within its four-building complex located at 281 Tresser Blvd. One unique feature is its shared atrium with One Stamford Plaza.
Overall, this move will bring McCarter & English into a Class A office tower spanning over 259,000 square feet which will better suit their needs as they continue to serve clients from their new location.
