**MCB Real Estate Appoints Daniel Taub as Senior Managing Director, Head of Retail**
MCB Real Estate has announced the appointment of Daniel Taub as Senior Managing Director, Head of Retail. Taub brings nearly 30 years of experience in retail real estate leadership to the firm. He most recently served as Senior Vice President, National Director of Retail at Marcus & Millichap and Institutional Property Advisors in New York City. He will now be based in MCB’s Baltimore headquarters.
In his new role, Taub will be responsible for guiding the strategic direction, operations, and financial performance of the company’s retail division. His duties will include overseeing leasing and asset management functions, fostering relationships within the brokerage community, supporting the underwriting of retail acquisitions, and assisting in the planning and leasing of mixed-use and retail-focused developments nationwide.
During his tenure at Marcus & Millichap, Taub oversaw $13.5 billion in transaction volume and led a team of 450 brokerage professionals throughout the U.S. and Canada. Prior to that, he spent over 22 years at DLC Management Corp., ascending from associate to president. There, he managed a portfolio comprising 115 shopping centers across 24 states.
