Basis Industrial has appointed Max Ducharme as managing partner of its new branch focused on special situations and opportunistic investment strategies. Ducharme will be responsible for expanding Basis Industrial’s reach outside of multi-tenant industrial and self storage in the Southeast U.S. and New York tri-county areas, identifying existing car wash facilities, land sites for new conveyor car wash development, as well as selectively focusing on distressed value-add retail opportunities.
Prior to joining Basis Industrial, Ducharme served as senior vice president of Investment & Development at Falcone Group where he managed all aspects of the development process. He holds a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School at University Pennsylvania in Philadelphia; a Master Arts degree from University Pennsylvania; and Bachelor Science degrees in Accounting & Finance from Lehigh University Bethlehem (Pennsylvania).
