CRC has announced the appointment of Matthew Joiner as their new Senior Vice President for Multifamily Acquisitions. With over 18 years of experience in real estate, Joiner previously served as the Senior Director and Head of US Multifamily at CapitaLand Investment in New York.
In his new role, Joiner will be responsible for identifying and acquiring multifamily properties in CRC’s target markets across the Southeast region. He will also oversee due diligence and closing processes, establish relationships within the brokerage and capital markets industries, and assist with underwriting duties.
Joiner will be based out of CRC’s New York City offices where he will work closely with Ari Abramson, Vice President of Multifamily Acquisitions to explore potential acquisition opportunities. JM Schapiro, CEO of CRC expressed excitement about adding a seasoned professional like Matt to their team as they aim to own and operate 20,000 multifamily units by 2030. His extensive network and proven track record in acquisitions make him an invaluable asset to help achieve this goal.
