Matan Companies has recently secured a full-building lease agreement with DHL eCommerce for 138,000 square feet at 11400 University Blvd. in Manassas, Virginia. This successful deal follows Matan’s expansion into Prince William County at Parkway 66 on Cushing Road. The leased space is part of the highly sought-after Redstone Industrial campus.
In addition to this lease agreement, Matan also sold a portion of the project to Carter Machinery and retained the remaining acreage for future development opportunities. The adjacent building at 11450 University Blvd., which is suitable for various purposes, is still available for lease.
Brad Benna represented Matan in this transaction while Andrew Hegmann from Fischer Commercial Real Estate in Dallas handled negotiations on behalf of DHL.
According to JP Matan, director of Leasing for the company: “We are extremely pleased with our projects’ success in Northern Virginia and especially grateful for our assets’ performance in Manassas – now recognized as one of the most desirable industrial sub-markets nationwide.”
