Lennar, a prominent homebuilding company, has been granted approval by the Buckeye planning board to construct a mixed-use project at the intersection of West Southern Avenue and South Watson Blvd. The development, known as Ventana Ranch South, will feature a variety of housing options and other amenities. This planned community aims to provide convenient access to retail stores, restaurants, services for residents and employees alike. Additionally,the property will offer opportunities for office spaces,l ight industrial facilities,and employment opportunities on approximately 43.9 acres that have been rezoned.
The team behind this project includes Lennar Arizona LLC as the owner,Tiffany & Bosco PA serving as attorney,and Stantec handling civil engineering tasks.
Buckeye is recognized as Arizona’s largest city in terms of land area and is situated in the westernmost part of Phoenix Metropolitan Area.As per recent census data,the population has grown significantly from 50,876 in 2010 to an estimated number of91 ,502in2020.The city also saw significant growth from just6 ,537residents back in2000 .
