Construction has begun on the 118-acre CedarView center, with developers focusing on the initial infrastructure. The highly anticipated center, set to feature Nebraska Furniture Mart as its anchor store, is projected to open in late 2026 or early 2027. Alongside NFM will be other major retailers such as Scheels and a luxurious hotel and conference center.
According to reports from the Austin Business Journal, located at 750 E. New Hope Drive in Cedar Park, this development will also include a full-service hotel with over 250 rooms and a city-owned convention center spanning over 30,000 square feet. Additionally, there are plans for approximately7000 square feet of warehouse space and another quarter-million square feet of retail space outside of NFM’s massive furniture store currently under construction. This ambitious project could potentially surpass an astounding five million square feet of commercial real estate within Cedar Park alone.
CPM Development LLC is leading this venture affiliated with NFM , which has committed $400 million towards investment requirements for creating jobs within its first year after opening their doors.The entire project is expected to generate an impressive $435 million in new tax revenue for Cedar Park during its first twenty-five years since operation began.
