Transwestern Real Estate Services has appointed Mark Butcher as Managing Senior Vice President of Asset Services for the Southern California region, based in Los Angeles. In this role, the 25-year industry veteran is responsible for directing property management activities, implementing building technology and sustainability initiatives, identifying new business opportunities and recruiting and developing talent.
Butcher also leads a team of more than 100 property management professionals managing 18.5 million square feet of office, healthcare, life sciences and industrial properties across Los Angeles County San Diego County Orange County Inland Empire Las Vegas Valley area .
With over 40 million square feet managed throughout his career , Butcher previously served as Senior Vice President & Market Leader at Kidder Mathews where he was accountable for an 11-million-square-foot portfolio comprising office laboratory retail industrial assets .
