**Marcus & Millichap Brokers Sale of Chicago Medical Office Property**
Marcus & Millichap has successfully closed the sale of a medical office property located at 2335 S. Michigan Ave. in Chicago, Illinois. The 12,000-square-foot property, fully leased to Shifrin Plastic Surgery Center, was sold for $5.1 million.
“This transaction highlighted the continuous demand for Midwest commercial real estate investments from out-of-state capital, as well as the strength of utilizing our platform to assist both buyers and sellers in achieving their long-term investment goals,” said Forest Bender, First Vice President of Investments, and Zach Rogers, Associate at Marcus & Millichap.
Bender, Rogers, Joseph DiSalvo, and Sam Curtis, investment specialists in the firm’s Indianapolis office, exclusively represented the seller and secured the buyer for the transaction. Steven Weinstock served as Marcus & Millichap’s broker of record in Illinois.
The property, situated in a prime downtown Chicago location along Michigan Avenue, serves as a link between the city’s cultural and business hubs. Originally built in 1906 and extensively renovated in 2018, the three-story medical office facility is leased under a newly signed 11-year absolute-net lease to a plastic surgeon.
