Marcus & Millichap recently closed the sale of a two-building, six-suite retail center in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, for $2.87 million.
“This center drew substantial investor interest thanks to its 100% occupancy and location in front of a well-ranked Walmart,” said Jeff Rowlett, Senior Managing Director of Investments at Marcus & Millichap.
Rowlett, an investment specialist based in the firm’s Milwaukee office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, Elm Holdings 1 LLC. The buyer, a Wisconsin-based private investor, was procured by Jesse Schluter, founder of Wisconsin Commercial Real Estate.
The retail center is situated on 1.6 acres at 4321–4323 8th Street South and is shadow-anchored by a high-performing Walmart Supercenter. Built in 2007, the property comprises two buildings with six retail suites, anchored by tenants including Maurices and Mattress Firm.
