"Marcus and Millichap Auctions DC Restaurant Property for $7M"

The retail property located at 619 H Street NW in Washington, D.C. has been successfully sold for $7.4 million through a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy process by The Zupancic Group. This 17,655-square-foot property received nine offers and attracted four bidders during the auction, with Baltimore Midtown emerging as the buyer. Marcus & Millichap’s John Slowinski and Marty Zupancic were exclusively responsible for marketing the property.

Formerly occupied by Tony Cheng’s Mongolian Restaurant, this property was facing financial instability due to challenging market conditions and ongoing changes in its neighborhood. Despite these challenges, Slowinski stated that their team persevered and managed to attract a diverse pool of buyers resulting in a successful deal that greatly benefits the Chinatown community.

This recent sale of DC’s prominent commercial space showcases Marcus & Millichap’s expertise in facilitating profitable transactions within competitive markets.
