Helena P. Finley, a seasoned professional in the construction industry, has been appointed as Managing Director and Executive Vice President of EMBREY, a San Antonio-based real estate investment company with vertical integration. In her new role, she will oversee all multifamily residential and commercial properties in EMBREY’s portfolio across multiple states including Texas, Colorado, Tennessee, Florida North Carolina and Arizona. With responsibility for managing over 760 subcontractors and vendor partners as well as directing more than 140 employees at both field and corporate levels.

St. John Properties Inc., has recently acquired a 50-acre parcel of land located in Leander,Texas just north of Austin with plans to develop an eight-building mixed-use business community spanning over 270000 square feet which will include flex/R&D space along with retail units on three pad sites.The first phase is expected to begin later this year encompassing two buildings totaling nearly90 thousand square feet that are slated for completion by the third quarter of2025.

AOG Living has commenced construction on The Evergreen at Whisper Valley,the first multifamily development within East Austin’s master-planned community knownas Whisper Valley.Developed by Taurus Investment Holdings,this Class A property consistingof348 units,is set to open its doors during springtimeof2025.Cadence Bank is providing financing for The Evergreen at Whisper Valley.

Megacrete,a joint venture between Litecrete and Aercon,has selected Kerrville as the location for its new U.S. headquarters which will span over 120 thousand square feet at a cost of $40 million.The company is expected to create forty permanent jobs with salaries exceeding $54,000.Kerrville’s Economic Improvement Corporation has offered incentives in the form of a land grant worth$1.2 million whilethe city and Kerr County have pledged an additional combined amountof$1.7millionto support this projectwhich is anticipated to bringin an economic investmentofapproximately $58 millionto the area.
