**Mapletree Breaks Ground on Two Chicagoland Industrial Facilities**

Mapletree Investments has commenced construction on two new industrial facilities in the Chicago area, with developments underway in both Bartlett and Joliet. These state-of-the-art properties are expected to be delivered by Summer 2026.

The first project, named Bartlett Commerce Center, is located at 1360 Schiferl Road in Bartlett. The facility will span 149,100 square feet on an 8.2-acre site adjacent to Mapletree’s existing 400,000-square-foot warehouse. Upon completion, it will offer 36-foot clear heights, 42 dock doors, two drive-in doors, and 181 car parking spaces, making it well-suited for modern industrial operations.

Meanwhile, at 3600 Houbolt Road in Joliet, the second facility is being developed on an 18.11-acre site strategically positioned at the I-80 and I-55 interchange. This location provides direct access to the Joliet Intermodal Center, a key transportation hub. The planned 312,306-square-foot warehouse will feature 40-foot clear heights, 59 dock doors, 76 trailer stalls, and 204 car parking spaces.

Keeley Construction has been appointed as the general contractor for the Joliet site. Leasing for both properties is being handled by Sean Henrick and Jason West, Vice Chairs at Cushman & Wakefield.

These developments reflect Mapletree’s continued expansion in high-demand logistics markets and reinforce the firm’s strategic presence in the Chicagoland industrial sector.
