The Maple Grove City Council has approved Boston Scientific Corp.’s proposal for a 400,000-square-foot facility in the Twin Cities suburb, as reported by the Boston Business Journal. The Massachusetts-based med-tech company’s plans include a three story building with space for labs, corporate offices, administrative areas and loading docks that will house at least 256 employees.
Boston Scientific intends to move its employees from its Minnetonka Minnesota facility and sales, general and administrative staff from its current Maple Grove facility. Construction is expected to be completed by late 2025 with an assessment of future need for the Minnetonka location afterwards.
