Manor Project Moves Forward as Warehouse Developer Overcomes Obstacle

Dalfen Industrial has reached an agreement with Manor to construct an industrial park according to Manor’s regulations, rather than those of Austin. This is made possible by a new Texas law that allows landowners in neighboring towns to choose which town they would like their property to fall under. Dalfen’s plan is to transform the former site of Manor Downs horse racetrack into warehouses.

The project will consist of six buildings, ranging in size from 84,000 square feet up to 500,000 square feet. Additionally, there will be a community area featuring an amphitheater that will be developed by the city of Manor.

Accordingly reported by the Austin Business Journal , this area has experienced significant growth since State Highway 130 was built and Tesla Inc.’s facility was established nearby. Dalfen itself has already made its mark on the Austin region with its development of Airport Logistics Center at 6106 Ross Road in Del Valle – where Four Hands LLC leased over half a million square feet last year.

In light of these developments and agreements being finalized between Dalfen Industrial and Manor officials regarding building permits and zoning approvals for this project – it appears that construction on this warehouse development can now move forward without any further obstacles or delays.
