Macy’s Leases Central Valley Logistics Facility

Macy's Leases Central Valley Logistics Facility

Cushman & Wakefield, a leading commercial real estate firm, successfully represented Macy’s in securing a long-term lease for their new 272,000-square-foot logistics and distribution facility in Lathrop. The property is located at 3400 W Yosemite within the Phelan Lathrop Gateway industrial park and is owned by Phelan Development.

The team of Jay Hagglund and Tyson Vallenari from Cushman & Wakefield worked together to secure this deal for Macy’s. According to Vallenari, this new location offers many advantages such as easy access to the Bay Area Region, Northern California and Central Valley customer base. It also has close proximity to major transportation hubs like UP and BNSF Intermodal Facilities, regional international airports as well as multiple ports in the area. With immediate access to Interstate 5 and Highway 99, it provides convenient accessibility not only within California but also other major markets throughout the West Region.

This latest development marks an important milestone for Macy’s expansion plans in Central Valley without mentioning any specific organization or project names.
