The City of Lake Oswego has officially begun construction on Rassekh Park, a new multi-purpose sports field, large playground, and skatepark. This 10-acre park was designed by the renowned architecture and engineering firm Mackenzie in partnership with the city.
In addition to the sports field and skatepark, Rassekh Park will feature a parking lot with drop-off area, new access pathways and expanded multi-use pathways. Other amenities include restrooms, walking trails, covered picnic area,and a protected natural area surrounding Pecan Creek. These improvements were made possible through funding from the Lake Oswego Parks & Recreation bond.
