### 144 Affordable Housing Units Coming to Las Vegas Valley

A new affordable housing development is set to break ground on Monday in the Las Vegas Valley, bringing 144 units to the region. With a total development cost of $53.69 million, the project is being led by **Nevada HAND**, the state’s largest developer, builder, and manager of affordable rental homes for low-income seniors and working families.

The new housing community will cater to low-income families as well as young adults aging out of foster care. Located at South Broadbent Boulevard and Boulder Highway in Henderson, the development will include apartments with up to three bedrooms.

As part of the project, **Sunrise Ranch Apartments** will reserve up to 60 units specifically for young adults transitioning from foster care to independent living and economic self-sufficiency.

In addition to housing, the development will offer a range of amenities, including a computer lab, fitness center, playground, clubhouse, and activity rooms.

This effort reflects Nevada HAND’s commitment to providing quality housing for those in need while fostering community growth and stability.
