Lubbock Secures $33.7M Affordable Housing Project

Housing Trust Group (HTG) has successfully secured financing and commenced construction on Inn Town Lofts, a $33.7 million affordable housing community in Lubbock. This project marks HTG’s first foray into the affordable housing market in Texas, with plans to renovate a historic property and build an additional two-story building. Construction is set to begin this month, with leasing expected to start in the Summer of 2025.

Inn Town Lofts will offer 56 units reserved for low-income residents earning between 30-80% of the area median income (AMI). With monthly rents ranging from $452-$1,789, these apartments will provide much-needed relief compared to Lubbock’s median rent of $1,375.

Conveniently located at 1202 Main Street, this community boasts an array of amenities including a fitness center, children’s playground,
community laundry room,
business center equipped with workstations,
a communal theater area and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi.

The esteemed design and construction team behind Inn Town Lofts includes Wallace Architects as well as general contractor Teinert Construction.
