**Lowe’s Opens 130,000-Square-Foot Store in Maricopa’s South Bridge Marketplace**
Thompson Thrift, a leading developer in the Phoenix metro area, has announced the opening of a new 130,000-square-foot Lowe’s store at South Bridge Marketplace in Maricopa.
The company is also preparing to begin construction on the second phase of the development later this year, which will include a 54,000-square-foot space anchored by ALDI. The grocery chain has signed a lease for the project and is currently in the process of submitting plans for a building permit to the city.
In addition to Lowe’s and ALDI, several other tenants have signed leases at South Bridge Marketplace, including Einstein Bros. Bagels, Club Pilates, Eurowax, and She Nails. Thompson Thrift reports that it is in active negotiations with multiple tenants and expects the project to be nearly 70% leased prior to breaking ground on the next phase.
Thompson Thrift acquired the site in January 2024 and began construction on the Lowe’s store in November of the same year.
